Quality Control at Beyond A Century
Beyond A Century, Inc. is a small, family-owned company dedicated to the principles of good health and great value. Our private-labeled powders are rebottled on site using strict quality control methods that cover the raw material from receiving through final shipment to our customers. We purchase our bulk items from established, reputable suppliers in the industry. Each product comes to us with a certificate of analysis that details identity, composition and purity of the product. We follow an in-house good manufacturing practices program, modeled on industry guidelines, that includes receiving and sampling procedures; proper storage of bulk and finished products; personnel education and training; sanitation and maintenance of grounds and equipment; manufacturing production and process controls; and extensive paperwork and records that preserve the integrity and quality of our products. We engage in continuous self-auditing to assure our customers that they are receiving the highest quality products we can produce for the best possible price we can offer.
NOTE: Due to recent inquiries and general concerns regarding protein imported from other countries, we wanted to assure our customers of the quality private labeled protein products from Beyond A Century. BAC private labels three proteins: Nutragammax, 90% Whey, and 80% Low Heat Whey. The countries of origin for these items are as follows:

90% Whey: Wisconsin, USA
80% Whey: Denmark
Please note that we do not use wheat gluten, corn gluten, corn meal or rice protein in any of our private label products. We do carry soy protein, pre-packaged from NOW Foods, who are notoriously strict in their quality control. In addition, the FDA has issued a protein ingredient surveillance assignment and will be performing inspections and collecting samples for testing for protein sources both domestically and at the point of import entry. Currently the protein sources they will be testing are wheat gluten, corn gluten, corn meal, soy protein, and rice protein. The FDA may expand the scope of the assignment in the near future. Beyond A Century is also taking additional steps to insure product integrity by requesting additional documentation from suppliers where it is deemed prudent.
